My husband and I are aware that our son and daughter, who are close in age, have been sexually involved. We have heard them and once walked in on them. We've had long talks with them and they claim they know what they are doing. They continue even with our talks and warnings about possible pregnancy. We finally decided to just try to see that they use birth control. Like my husband says, "Once they started fucking, there is no stopping them."

We feel guilty about our children but we are bewildered and go over how we could possibly have instigated this. We blame Internet porn, especially the new wave of INCEST porn where all kinds of family members engage. Most people don't realize its fantasy sex and believe it's true. I doubt there is much of that going on but then, I have no idea. I only know it's going on in my own home.

It's not that they are emulating the website scenes. They have raging hormones and they are succumbing to the same. There are innumerable people indulging in Incest without any adverse effects.I do not condone or condemn these relationships ,merely stating what I have come across in my medical practice when people do confess. AND they are happy.Once they find suitable partners ,they will dissociate themselves from this.Don't think on the lines of sin since murder and r**es also are sins but do take place.

Talk to them and assure them that they need to not blame themselves or feel guilty but get partners to direct the desire to satisfy the basic instinct.

Do not talk to your friends, who will only ruin their reputation and thus lives in the wider society. The
positive fallout is---no heartbreaks,no infections,no blackmail or exploitation--which happen in most relationships.Rest assured, they will themselves stop this.

Your concern is understandable but talk to them in a positive manner and then leave it at that.

This mother might fear that any offspring from their sexual intercourse might be like one of the characters from the movie, Deliverance, perhaps the banjo playing kid. No one can doubt there is danger in genetics.

I can't imagine all the porn on the Internet is having no impact on our society.

Porn have been widespread since the early 00's. And how have the world change since?

People are r****g and killing each other more? People have more mental problems, divorces are on the rise?

That is not true. There is not even a correlation between them (and to remind you, correlation is not the same as causality)! All over the world where porn is widely available, the violence rate against women and children, and especially sexual violence towards anyone have gone down almost 25% and since the 60's the domestic violence, and sexual violence rates have lowered whopping 75%!!!

World is much safer place today!

Divorce rates didn't went up because of porn. It went up because of women have got more rights since the eighties. Even right to have a divorce. That have not been the case all the time.

Mental problems are still the same and as ordinary as they have been.

Sure blame the porn as much as you want, but remember there are researched facts that support the benefits of freedom of speech, freedom of sexuality and freedom of porn. Take one away, and you take away all three.

For example sites like yourbrainonporn is spreading bullshit which doesnt have ANY scientific base for their arguments. They are getting their payment from religious and semipolitical religious groups and if you take a close look at their "scientific" arguments and the actual data they are referring to, the studies says completely different thing than what they are saying.

Even the TED made a note about them of their youtube video, saying how the opinions and hints may help some viewers, but the arguments of the video are not scientific and not supported by medical and psychological professionals.

For example they referred a study of drugs, and then they referred study of brains, which had proved that drugs please brain, just like sex and food do too and suddenly they were blaming porn, saying porn and masturbating to porn is drug and will take over the same area in brain as heroin does. WOW!

Sure, USA and with their shitty education system, people will believe their bullshit, but there are still people who can read and most importantly, understand what they read.

You wouldn't believe the kinds of things teens are experimenting with. One time, I peeked at my 14 year old daughters phone one time because I was curious what she was doing. When I looked through it I was flabbergasted at all the nudes and sex pics of her and her friends. Then my jaw dropped when I came across pics of three different girls her age getting fucked by a dog. I didn't bring it up for a while because I was snooping, but I was really worried about her and finally asked. She was really embarrassed and told me that guys at her school were getting girls to make bets with each other and whoever lost had to fuck a dog. I made her promise me that she'd never do something like that and she said that no she's not stupid, which had me a little relieved. When I questioned her about the other pics though, I got her to admit that she was fucking two different boys. I don't really know what to do about that. I at least got her to promise that she'd make them use condoms. I still haven't told her mother.

Porno was not only NOT "widespread" but illegal and in some states, considered criminal as was homosexuality and a lot of other, related sex issues. Anyone who believes that there is nothing new with the Internet is wrong.

#7 is correct. Just look up the biographies of men like Larry Flynt and Al Goldstein, how many times they were dragged off to jail for publishing porn to get the real overview.

Porn was not widespread during the nineties, and not to even mention eighties and seventies.

Porn were not freely available to everyone like it is now.

You forgot that there are much bigger world than USA. Porn was not illegal in Europe and not even all the states in the USA. Danish were one of the major publisher then and they did also porn which is now considered illegal in majority of western world. In some parts of the europe, major porn magazine publishers kept for example anal sex out of their magazines, although legally it was not needed.

And Europe were much safer place then than USA. There were less r**e, less violence, less abuse etc.

During the 00's crime rates in states in the US, where porn and sexuality were accepted had much less sexual related violence than for example in bible belt where porn or sexuality is still not accepted.

Porn have made world free and peaceful place. All the people who want to ban porn are troublemakers and trolls.
