    — When I Was a Kid —
    When I was 16 I decided to go out in the middle of the cold as minnesota winter to go to a friends house. While I was there I we decided we should walk up to walgreen's. Now since it was icy I got hurt on our way back. My friend and I decided to go to this creek we went by on our way back! Now there were steps down to a look out spot so we started down and the step were icy but I didn't care! All of the sudden I end up on my butt and my ankle hurts really badly! Since My friends mom was home and had a car I told her to go next door and call her mom and tell her what had happened so I could get home and then my mom could take me to the doctor the next day. Her mom came and called 911 because I knew I had fractured it and it hurt alot! The ambulance came and took me to the hospital my mom followed because a friend drove her! I ended up having 10 X-rays of it and I could hear it grinding during the x-rays. Needless to say I had broken it in 3 places and I had surgery. They put in 8 pins and a plate. I went home after 3 days though!

    Sorry I'm not very good at spelling! I never have been! I usually use word but my computer isn't working very well. I need to get a new one so I can use spell check. They should put that on this site!
