Was it really necessary to call her an idiot?

First question - No, you won't have it forever, though you may have a tendency for it to be reoccuring. But a doctor can easily take care of it for you.
Second question - I never had any problem talking about my yeast infections, though I suppose that's up to the individual.
Lastly - For the poster who called you an idiot, and said a yeast infection, if untreated, could make you sterile - - now, who's the idiot! IT CAN NOT! Yeast is naturally occuring in a womans' vagina - I should know - but sometimes, for whatever reason, gets out of hand. BITCH!
