— My Family —My future sister in law invited me and my mom to her bachlorette party. Of course I wanted to go and after so fast talking we got my mom to come. There were about 15 of us there when the stripper showed up. All was good. Even my mom got up and danced with the stripper. — My Family —ok so this aint the greatest confession ever but i have guilt.
i'm a 22 yr old plumber and i was asked months ago to sort out my aunts new shower. i put it for ages bcoz it wasn't worth doing and charging normal rates would not apply with family.

— My Family —My family moved to a new neighborhood when I was 16 because my father said our old one was "getting to many n--gers". He told my sister and me that he would kill us if we ever dated a black boy. Of course, my sister promptly met, slept with, got pregnant by, and married a black guy. He's a wonderful husband and everything my dad and brothers aren't (physically fit, educated, moral, etc.) At the time, I was horrified. Not because she was with a black guy but because she cut herself off from our family. My mom and I talk to her, but no one else.
I went to college and started interacting with people of all races. I made several black friends, but often found myself in an awkward position when an appealing black guy would ask me out. If I didn't go out with him, I was just following my dad's orders. If I did, was I doing it just to be defiant. And it seemed that many of the black women I knew didn't want white women dating "their" men anyway.
When I graduated from college, I had the option of moving back home to live rent free or struggling on my own in an apartment. I have a lot of student loans so I moved home. I realized that my then-boyfriend was just a younger version of my dad and I dumped him. One day, I met a guy in a bookstore. He was smart and funny and black. — My Family —Right this happened a few years ago now when I was 13. Now being the only male child I had my own room, my twin sisters (14 at the time) shared a room and my little sister (10 at the time) also had her own room. We used to play fight like children do, and especially worse when our parents were out. Well this one time when our parents were out we started to play fight. — My Family —My mother in law has to be the biggest bitch I have ever met! She called my husband this afternoon and asked if we could come up with our 7 month old son to visit. So hubby called me and asked me what did he think and I told him that I didn't think taking our son was a good idea since he's been teething really bad and is cranky almost all the time. Nothing makes him happy no matter what we do, and I didn't want to subject his parents to that when our son doesn't get to see them very often. I said that next month we could probably take him or even later this month once this bad teething stage is done.
So I asked him to call his mom back and ask her if it was okay for us just to come up this weekend and leave the baby with my family since they watch him during the day while we both work and go to college full time. He called his mother back and she said she only wanted him to come up then, and I could stay home. I'm so pissed at her! Just because she isn't getting what she wants, she's going to be a bitch to me over it. I won't let my husband take the baby up there alone because I know what my husband's childhood was like and how his mother's parenting skills are. When my husband was a child and she didn't want to deal with him, she'd dope him up on Benadryl and make him sleep. I am not having that with my child.
I should have known where I stood when on Mother's Day I didn't get so much as a card or a call from her and we bought her a really nice gift and spent the money for it even when we didn't have the money at the time and she didn't get me anything, yet on father's day, she went all our for my husband and bought him a whole bunch of tools, a toolbox, and some clothes. — My Family —I don't have a problem with interracial relationships. In fact, given the light skin and more curly than kinky hair my family has, I'm pretty sure that have some white ancestors. However, my sister's white boyfriend has got to go.
He is what I was raised to never say: "poor white trash". Jake brags that no one in his family has ever graduated from high school. He works maybe seven weeks out of the year at a real job and the last time he was fired for being drunk at work. The rest of the time does odd jobs that are really hobbies like being a guide for rich hunters. He has four children by three different women and doesn't pay child support for any of them. When our family visits, he sits around in just jeans and talks about how his great-granddaddy was a slaveowner.
My sister is a college graduate. She has a good job and owns the house that she and Jake live in. She's attractive and has a great personality. Before she got involved with him, she was engaged to a great guy from church. Now I'm afraid that eligible well-off black men won't want to be with her. She says she loves him and is willing to put up with his crap because he's just ignorant.

— My Family —I just got out of rehab. My sponser says that I should tell people I hurt that I am sorry, but I've found it really difficult. The worst thing is that I am pretty sure that I was the one who destroyed my parents' wedding photos (cut up and burned). I say pretty sure because it happened during a long weekend when my parents were away. I had two parties and the house got really trashed. My neighbor called my mom's cell phone and told her that I was having parties. My mom called me and said I was grounded. I got pissed and got drunk. I don't remember all that I did between then and my parents coming home. So I don't know if I did it or someone else did at during one of the parties.
